Who we are

GBTN is a web design studio based in Mentor, Ohio. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit gbtn.studio or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it the way we'd explain it in person — without the boilerplate.

Information we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, and the message you write. That's it — we don't ask for anything we don't need to reply to you.

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. If we use privacy-respecting analytics, it is aggregate and not used to identify you individually.

How we use it

We use the information you send to respond to your enquiry, scope potential work, and stay in touch about a project you've started with us. We do not use it for unrelated marketing, and we never sell it.

Cookies

The site runs without advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies present are strictly functional — for example, remembering a preference. You can block cookies in your browser settings without breaking the core experience.

Sharing and third parties

We share information only with the service providers that make the site and our correspondence work — for example, our hosting and email providers — and only to the extent they need it to perform that service. They are bound to protect it. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Data retention

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to do the work and meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete it. You can ask us to remove your information sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. To make a request, email us and we'll handle it promptly.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we treat the data you share with care.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll revise the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
